Don McAnulty

Don McAnulty, 84, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, September 26, 2020,  at the Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home.  He was born December 16, 1935 in Russellville, Arkansas to Adam Burl and Margery Bonds McAnulty. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles McAnulty; sister-in-law, Ona Faye McAnulty; Infant brothers, W.A. McAnulty, James Eugene McAnulty.

He is survived by his loving wife, Pam McAnulty; daughter, Tanya Sweetin & Lee of Little Rock; stepson, Jeremy Maxwell & fiance Sarah Berens, Austin, TX; grandchildren, Will Sweetin & Kara, Overland Park, KS, Lindsey Sweetin & fiance Chase Wingfield, Overland Park, KS, great granddaughter, Elliot Leigh Sweetin, Overland Park, KS; two sisters, Linda Smith, Russellville, Jane Daniel, Russellville; three brothers, Lonnie McAnulty & Brenda, Russellville, Billy McAnulty & Jane, Russellville, Burl McAnulty & Bobbie, Dardanelle; several nieces, nephews and other family and friends.  

Don was a member of the Lions Club for several years.  In his younger years, he was a member of the Jaycees. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.   Don retired after 20 years with Allstate Insurance.   

The private graveside funeral  service and burial will be in Bowden Cemetery, Pottsville under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.  There is no visitation planned.  

Pallbearers will be Stephen Daniel, Scott McAnulty, Dale McAnulty, Jonathan Smith, Brent Baker and Brad Judkins.  

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the doctors and staff at the Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home.
