Don Corbin

Don Corbin, 75 of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his home. He was born April 24, 1946 in Hartfield, Connecticut to Claude Harvey Corbin and Elsie Roblletts Corbin. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran serving two tours in Vietnam. He was originally drafted into the U.S. Army on February 14, 1967 and retired in 1987 at the rank of Sgt E5. During his career he was awarded a bronze star for meritorious service and also received a Purple Heart for wounds received in combat.

 

Don served his country that he loved and felt it was his civic duty. He thought that it was something all able body men should do.

 

He was kind, caring and had a giving nature about him.  He would always try to lend a hand where needed. Many times he would give gifts to people that he didn't even know. 

 

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Claire Josephine Brigada Corbin.

 

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
