Dennis Nordin

Dennis Ray Nordin, 73 of Russellville, Arkansas, went to his heavenly home Tuesday, May 20, 2025. He was born November 3, 1951 in Whittier, California to Harold and Jennie Nordin.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Paula Woodard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Thelma Nordin; son, Doug & Crystal Nordin; four grandchildren, Tessa & Bubba Martin, Whitney Nordin, Sabrina Kim, Madison & Braxten Bratton; five, great grandchildren, Annalise Martin, Bryce Chappell, Ryker Nordin, Coto Kim, Tatum Bratton; three siblings, Donna & Dan Hollis, Kim & Tracey Nordin, Matthew Nordin; special friends, James Findley, Danny Cothern, Johnny Henderson, Randy Findley and other family and friends.

In the words of Pastor James Findley: Dennis was a charter member of Restoration Worship Center. Dennis was a kind, talented perfectionist who could play virtually any instrument. He was a multiple State Champion Banjo player in surrounding states. He also played Pedal Steel Guitar, Bass guitar and other instruments. His music filled RWC every Sunday morning with beauty and his life filled our hearts with love. He served as our church Treasury and Board member with humility, excellence, and a love for God and others. He will be missed by all, but we are thankful for the legacy he leaves behind.

His visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, May 23rd at Restoration Worship Center . The Funeral service will be 10am Saturday, May 24th at RWC with pastor James Findley officiating, Burial will follow in Hickey Cemetery in London. Arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Martin, Johnny Henderson, Danny Cothern, Matthew Nordin, Paul Nordin, Kenny Taylor.
