David Michael Durden

David Michael “Mike” Durden Jr., 56 of Russellville, passed from this life March 27, 2026, in Russellville. Mike was born December 21, 1969, in Atlanta, Georgia to Ms. Barbara Sample. He was a huge advocate and motivator for those in recovery and had just recently received his own “6 Year” chip. He played a pivotal role in the recover path for countless others. Mike is preceded in death by his uncle, Connie Sample, his grandmother, Thelma Sample.

Left behind to cherish Mike’s memory are his mother; Barbara Sample; five children, Zack Durden, Brandon Durden, Dominique Durden, Treasure Durden, Levi Durden; brother, Jimmy Robinson; grandchildren, Jaesi Durden, Stacey Durden, William Durden; along with his recovery family and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be on 1:00 pm, Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Home Church in Dardanelle.
