Danny Louis Clariday, affectionately known as "Boone," age 77, of Dover, Arkansas, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at his home. Born on June 17, 1948, in Jerusalem, Arkansas, he was the son of Carl Clairday and Wanda "Norwood" Clairday, who preceded him in death, along with his beloved grandson, Jeffrey Sean Hudson.
Danny is lovingly remembered by his wife of 25 years, Paulette Clairday; his daughter, Michelle Tindall (Logan); his sons, Sean Hudson (Donna) and Brent Hudson (Jen); as well as grandchildren Shelby Townsley (Kendall), Noah Tindall, and Morgan Britt (Logan). A proud Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, Danny served honorably for two years in Vietnam. Following his military service, he dedicated his career to construction, operating heavy equipment, and later as an owner-operator trucker driving across the country.
He was affectionately called "Pock" by his grandchildren, who delighted in the sweet treats he always kept close, especially the suckers.
Danny’s passions included a love of God, hunting, fishing, and enjoying lively auctions. His warmth, dedication, and love for family and country will be dearly missed.
Visitation will take place on Monday, March 23, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Russellville Family Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Jerusalem, Arkansas, on Tuesday March, 24 at 11 a.m. with burial arrangements under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
