Danny Michael Bishop, 75, was born on August 29, 1951, in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Will and Mildred Bishop.
He passed away surrounded by his loving family, in the comfort of his home on September 2, 2026.
Danny was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. Upon returning home, Danny began building his own masonry business. This he continued for several decades.
He served as a faithful member of the Gateway PCG for 31 years. He also taught the adult Sunday school class with a conviction like none other.
Danny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mary M. Bishop (Nichols) and his three daughters, Evelyn (Larry, Jr.) Domerese, April (Gary) Croft and Judy Finley.
He was also survived by his grandchildren; Keaton (Amber) Domerese, Micheala (AJ) Newell, Austin (Drew) Privett, Brittany (Heath) Swindle, Ashlynn (Chandler) Carpenter, Nikki (Chase) Perkins, and Alyssa (James) Williams.
He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Alyvia, Cory, Malachi, Kyra, Austynn, Adriana, Madi, Brody, Berkley, Bailey, Levi, Dax, Bentley, Colton, Callan, Brantley, Mason, Max and Mira.
Danny had family members present in his life, including siblings, Pat Freeman, late Curt (Lynn) Bishop, Jack (Rosie) Bishop, Roger (Carolyn) Bishop, late Sharon (Max) Robinson, late Joan (Emmett) Bowen, Neal (Doris) Bishop, Gale (Jim) Wages, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Will and Mildred (Hutson) Bishop and his granddaughter, Lauren.
The service will take place at Gateway PCG, Saturday, September 5, 2026. Visitation will begin at 1pm, following by service at 2pm. Service will be ministered by Jerry Vinson, Larry Domerese and Jered Vinson.
Pallbearers for the service include, Keaton Domerese, Malachi Newll, A.J. Newell, Chris Wages, Jackie Bishop and Austin Privett.
Burial will follow the services in Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville, Arkansas under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral. Please visit our website, www.russellvillefamilyfuneral.com to share a memory with his family.
