Charles "Chuck" Franklin Mitchell

Charles "Chuck" Franklin Mitchell, age 79, of Dover, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at his home on July 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 14, 1946, in Oakdale, California, to William Ira Mitchell and Trudy Gertrude Brummett, Preceded in death by his parents, sister Kay Moreland, brother Kenneth Peevy, sister Judy Walling, and brother James R. Mitchell.

Chuck devoted many years working as the foreman of Stockton Metals in California where he retired. A man of faith, he found joy in watching western movies and had a passion for playing darts. He also was a great family man and Christian.

Chuck leaves behind a legacy of dedication and warmth. He is survived by his beloved wife of forty-six years, June Mitchell. He leaves behind his cherished children, Peggy R. Issac and her husband Jonathan, and Adam F. Mitchell, along with six treasured grandchildren: Mariah Mitchell, Brooklyn Harris, Eian Harris, Courtney Harris, Olivia Issac, and William F. Mitchell. He will also be dearly missed by his sisters, Lola Peevy and Peggy Jantz, along with her husband Roy, as well as lifelong friends Calvin Matthews and Dennis Reeves.
