Charles Edward Black

Charles Edward Black, 59 of Atkins, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was born January 6, 1966 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Aaron Black and Nancy Simpkins Black. He was preceded in death by his father; two sister, Patty Hittin, Sandy Charay.

He is survived by his life partner, Sandra Bratton of Atkins; his mother, Nancy Black of Ashland Kentucky; his children, Jessica Black and Alex Black; his siblings, Glenn Black of Kentucky, Bobby Black of Delaware, Joy Black of Ashland Kentucky, Diane Black of Ashland Kentucky; stepchildren, Jason and Nancy Davidson, Justin Bratton; grandkids, Aayliah Cooper, Ryder Cruse, Lydia Brown, McKenzie Brown, Bryson Davidson, as well as several other family and friends.

A private life celebration will be planned at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Russellville Family Funeral.
