Bobbie Garren

Bobbie Nell Garren of Russellville passed away June 24, 2025. She was a resident at the Russellville Rehab & Nursing Center. Bobbie was a member of the Caulksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Cremation arrangements are being provided by the Russellville Family Funeral Home.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Helen Ritchie. She is survived by her stepmother, Hilda Harvell of Ratclaff: two children, Keith Garren of Russellville and Steven Garren of Morrilton (Joy); one grandson Cory Garren of Russellville (Ashley); her sister Peggy Thompson (Wayne) of Harrison; her brother Howard Ritchie (Becky) of Russellville; and two great grandchildren, Reagen & Justin.

Bobbie was born on October 23, 1946, in Lake Charles, LA. She graduated from County Line High School in 1964 and attended the University of Arkansas in Morrilton where she majored in computer graphics. She was retired from the Walmart Corporation.

Bobbie truly loved her God and was very active in a weekly online bible study group consisting of retired women from several states. She had a “sweet spirit” in her soul, which was radiant to everyone she met. She mastered the art of crocheting, and crocheted 100’s of toboggans, scarfs and shawls, which she gave to her friends and to the First United Methodist Church Manna House.

Her visitation/service will be at the Russellville Family Funeral Home on July 12, 2025, at 2:00pm. A private burial will take place at a later date at the Caulksville Cemetery, Caulksville, Arkansas.
