Anna Marie Mares

Anna Marie Mares, aged 79, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2026, in Russellville. Born on August 28, 1946, in San Antonio, Texas, she was the cherished daughter of Manuel E. Mendez and Anita Guerrero Mendez. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her brother, Oscar Mendez.

Anna is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Michele M. Brown of Russellville; her son, Manuel L. Mares of San Pedro, California; her grandson, Aaron Robert Brown of Russellville; and her great-grandchildren, Alenna Brown, Able Brown, and Atlas Brown, all of Pottsville. She is also survived by her brother, Rudy Mendez, of San Antonio, Texas.

Her family was the light of her life, and she held them close to her heart.

A memorial service in her honor will be held on 2PM Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Russellville Family Funeral.
